순서

> 다른 표현 방식으로 더 자연스럽게 선생님이 교정해 준 문장
1. 오늘 재택근무를 했다. 은행에 다녀왔고, 날씨가 매우 더웠다 그래서 지쳐서 잠이 들었다.
> Today, I was working from home. I went to the bank, and it was scorching, so I was exhausted and fell asleep.
> I worked from home today, went to the bank, and it was so hot that I became exhausted and fell asleep.
2. 나는 때때로 12시간 이상씩 잔다. 잠자는 숲속의 공주는 아니지만, 커튼이 숙면에 도움을 준다. 그래서 회사에 못 갈 수도 있기 때문에 평일에는 커튼을 치지 않는다
> Sometimes I can sleep for over twelve hours. I am not a sleeping princess, but the curtains help us sleep well. So, do not pull the curtains during the week because we do not get up, or we might miss our work.
> Ocassionally, I can sleep for more than twelve hours. While I'm not like a sleeping princess, I find that the curtains help us sleep better. Therefore, we shouldn't draw the curtains during the weekdays since we may oversleep and miss our work.
* oversleep : 늦잠자다
* 암막커튼 : blackout curtains
* Draw the curtains 과 Pull the curtains 는 둘 다 문맥에 따라 "커튼을 여닫다" 이지만, Draw the curtains 가 조금 더 격식있게 들릴 수 있고, 열을 때도 사용하지만 주로 닫을 때 (커튼을 치다) 더 많이 사용됨. Pull the curtains 는 좀 더 일상적인 표현.
3. 고등학생 때, 미술 선생님이 나를 가르치는 것을 포기했다. 요즘들어 다이어리 꾸미기가 인기가 많은데 나는 손재주가 없다.
> When I was in high school, the art teacher gave up on teaching me, and these days, decoration diaries is also very popular, but I'm not good at it.
> During my time in high school, my art teacher stopped teaching me, and now decorating diaries has become quite popular, even though I'm not very skilled at it.

4. 나는 블로그를 시작했는데, 일처럼 느껴져서 전혀 즐겁지 않다.
> I have taken up blogging, but it is not fun as it feels like work.

* take up : 어떤 취미활동을 제대로 하기 시작하다
5. 특정한 주제에 초점을 맞춰야 한다. 내 경우에는 영어라서 직장에서 사용할 수 있는 특정 문장들과 당신한테 받은 피드백을 올렸다.
> We need to focus on special topics. For me, it's English, so I uploaded the feedback I received from you along with some special sentences that can be used at work.
Many people upload reviews of restaurants or things they are familiar with, which are more commercial or academic.

1. Pen is mightier than the sword : 펜은 칼보다 강하다
Writing is a more effective tool for communication and influence than violence or military force.
폭력이나 군사력보다 글쓰기가 더 효과적인 의사소통 및 영향력 도구라는 것을 의미
> In debates, the pen is mightier than the sword, as ideas can inspire change more powerfully than conflict.
토론에서 펜은 칼보다 강하다. 아이디어는 갈등보다 더 강력하게 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있기 때문이다
2. Write between the lines : 행간을 읽다
To understand the hidden meaning or implications of something, rather than the literal meaning
무언가의 문자 그대로의 의미가 아니라 숨겨진 의미나 함의를 이해하는 것을 의미
> When he said the was "fine". I knew I had to read between the lines to understand how he really felt.
그가 "괜찮다"고 말했을 때, 나는 그의 진짜 감정을 알려면 행간을 읽어야 한다는 것을 알았다.
3. Blogging up a storm : 블로그에 폭풍 업데이트
To write a large number of blog posts in a short period of time, often with great enthusiasm.
짧은 시간 내에 종종 큰 열정으로 많은 블로그 게시물을 작성하는 것을 의미
> Since shie started her new blog, she's been blogging up a storm, posting several articles each week.
그녀가 새로운 블로그를 시작한 이후로, 매주 여러 개의 글을 올리며 폭풍처럼 글을 쓰고 있다.
